These terms describe the basis on which we make this website and its tools available. Please read them before relying on any output. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the tools. How we handle information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Education and estimates
Our guides, calculations and reports provide general information and illustrative estimates. They are not personalised financial, investment, mortgage, tax or legal advice, a property valuation, a loan offer or an assessment of your eligibility. Using the site does not create an adviser-client relationship.
A positive cash balance or apparent surplus does not mean a purchase is suitable, affordable or approved. You remain responsible for deciding whether a proposed plan fits your household and circumstances.
Inputs, assumptions and limits
Results depend on the figures you enter and the scope and assumptions shown in the flow. Estimates may omit relevant costs, rules, timing constraints or personal circumstances. Unknown information must not be treated as confirmed. Examples and placeholders are illustrations, not recommendations.
We aim to keep the tools accurate, but errors can occur and official rules, rates and lender policies can change. A review date is not a guarantee that a rule remains current. Check important figures and requirements with the relevant official source, lender, CPF Board and suitably qualified professionals before committing to a transaction.
The upgrade journey currently models a limited sell-first scenario for a completed private condo or apartment. It does not forecast property values, investment returns or retirement wealth. Read the assumptions beside each result and in any report.
Saved plans and reports
Optional saving keeps a plan in the same browser. It is not an account, cloud backup or cross-device service. Browser settings, cleared data or changes to the flow may affect saved progress. Keep your own records if you need them.
A downloaded report is a dated snapshot of estimates, not a certificate, approval or professional recommendation. You may download and share your report for your planning discussions. Retain its assumptions, date, limitations and Money Put Where? attribution, and do not present altered figures as our original output.
You control who receives your downloaded report. Sharing a report yourself does not mean we have verified, endorsed or contacted its recipient.
Responsible use
Use the website lawfully. Do not interfere with its security or availability, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious content, impersonate others or misrepresent our outputs. Do not enter personal information about another person without authority to use it.
Our branding, writing and software remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Personal use and sharing your generated report are permitted; this does not grant ownership of the website or permission to present it as your own service.
Links and future partner services
External links are provided for reference. Other organisations control their websites, services and terms. A link is not a guarantee of their accuracy or suitability.
The current site does not submit partner enquiries. If partner services are introduced, their scope, sharing choices and any relevant commercial relationship should be disclosed before you decide to proceed. You are not required to contact a partner to use the current tools or download a report.
Availability and responsibility
We may update, correct or withdraw tools and content. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every result will be complete or error-free. Verify information independently and avoid relying on this site as your only basis for a financial commitment.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate inputs, use outside the stated scope, decisions made without appropriate verification, or third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Changes, governing law and contact
We may revise these terms and show the updated date here. Changes apply to future use and do not retroactively authorise sharing your information. These terms are governed by Singapore law, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you.
