Assumptions and official sources
Historical market data is labelled with its provider and dates. SGD/USD is kept constant in this prototype; mixed-currency results exclude actual FX changes.
Singapore Department of Statistics CPI (opens in a new tab). Data through 2026-08, reviewed 2026-10-13. The future inflation rate is an editable assumption.
- Future values use your constant annual return assumptions. Historical CAGR is a reference in each holding’s trading currency, not a forecast or recommended expected return.
- Starting investments and month-end contributions follow your entered allocations. Fractional investments and reinvested distributions are assumed. Holdings are not rebalanced, so weights may drift.
- Underlying ETF expenses are already reflected in adjusted prices. This preview excludes additional broker and platform charges.
- Mixed SGD/USD holdings assume a fixed exchange rate. Historical exchange-rate gains and losses, taxes, trading commissions and withdrawals are excluded.
- A pause starts at the beginning of its selected year. A one-time market fall affects all holdings before the contribution at the end of the selected year. The assumed return resumes afterwards; no recovery is guaranteed.
- Purchasing power uses Singapore all-items CPI or your editable future inflation assumption. Your household’s inflation may differ. Nominal monthly contributions do not increase with inflation.
