The figures you enter
Our calculators run in your browser. The financial figures and answers you enter in the planning flow are not submitted to Money Put Where?, stored in our database or sent to partners. We do not require an account to use the tools.
This is different from website traffic information, described below. If you choose to send us an email or a downloaded report yourself, we will receive what you send.
Optional saved progress
Saving is off by default. Choosing “Save this plan on this device” stores one upgrade plan in this browser using local storage. It includes your entered figures, answers and progress. Results are recalculated when you return.
Saved progress has no automatic expiry. It remains until you clear it, turn saving off, or your browser removes the site’s data. It does not sync to another browser or device. Browser privacy settings may prevent saving, and we cannot recover a lost plan.
To delete it, open the figure controls on a result page and choose “Start again”, then confirm. Turning off “Save this plan on this device” deletes the stored copy while keeping your current on-page answers until you leave. You can also clear this website’s data in your browser settings.
Anyone with access to that browser may be able to see the saved plan. Avoid saving on a shared device.
Downloaded reports
PDF reports are created in your browser and downloaded to your device. Downloading does not send the report to us or contact a partner. Clearing saved progress does not delete downloaded files. You control whether to share a report and should remove it from shared devices.
Hosting, security and analytics
Cloudflare delivers and protects this website. Providing those services involves processing technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser information, requested pages and request times, for delivery, security and troubleshooting.
The live site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits and page performance. Cloudflare describes this service as not using cookies or local storage for analytics or fingerprinting visitors. It measures page visits and performance; our application does not send your calculator answers to it.
Read Cloudflare’s analytics collection documentation and Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for details of its processing, retention and international operations. Traffic information is distinct from the plan saved on your device.
Our application does not set advertising cookies. Optional plan saving uses local storage, not cookies. Hosting and security services may use necessary browser technologies to deliver or protect the site.
If you contact us
We receive your email address, message and any details you choose to include. We use them to respond, investigate an issue or handle your request. Please do not send identity documents, account credentials or unnecessary financial details.
Correspondence may be processed by email and other service providers needed to handle your request. We keep it only while needed for that purpose or applicable legal or business requirements, then delete or anonymise it. Access should be limited to people who need it for those purposes.
Partners and other disclosures
The current website has no partner-contact or referral submission feature. We do not sell your planning figures or automatically forward them to a partner.
If we add partner contact, we will explain the recipient, information and purpose before you choose to share. Saving a plan or downloading a report is not consent to partner sharing or marketing. Information you send directly to another organisation is subject to its own privacy practices.
Information we actually hold, such as correspondence, may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect the site and address misuse.
Security and overseas processing
We use reasonable safeguards for information we handle, but no website, browser or email system can guarantee absolute security. Our hosting and service providers may process technical information or correspondence outside Singapore. Applicable data-protection requirements continue to apply to information processed on our behalf.
Your questions and choices
You can contact us to ask about personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, raise a privacy concern, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. We may need to verify your identity, and legal exceptions may apply. We will explain if a request affects our ability to respond or provide a requested service.
We cannot access or delete a plan stored only in your browser or a PDF on your device. Use the controls described above for those copies.

Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and show the revised date. A policy update does not itself authorise a new use or sharing of your planning figures. We will seek a separate choice where needed.
